NARROWSBURG, NY — On Wednesday, July 13, at 11 a.m., there will be a gathering at the Tusten-Cochecton library in Narrowsburg to dedicate the recently created garden in memory of Beth Peck.
Star Hesse, a member of the Narrowsburg Beautifcation Group, and Brandi Merolla wanted to find a way to honor Beth. They decided to create a memorial garden next to the library that she and her husband donated to the community.
Two Trex benches made of recycled soft plastic were placed there, because Beth always supported the recycling efforts of the Tusten Energy Committee. The garden is a place to sit and contemplate or read among the flowers.
The plaque speaks of Beth as a shining resident in the community.
The rain date for this event is July 20 at 11 a.m.
If you plan to attend, call the library at 845/252-3360.
