MONTICELLO, NY — Petitions are available for the October 11 election of trustees at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library.

Five board seats are up for election:
Two seats for full three-year terms (1/1/24-12/31/26)
One seat for the remaining two years of a three-year term (1/1/24-12/31/25)
Two seats for the remaining one year of two three-year terms (1/1/24-12/31/24)

Incumbents Rebecca Kemp (two-year terms) and Richard Arnold (one-year term) are seeking reelection. Maureen O’Meara (three-year term), Marcia Raponi (three-year term) and Melanie Olson (one-year term) are not seeking reelection.
Pick up a petition from the election secretary at the library if you are an eligible voter.

Eligible voters reside within the library service area (the Town of Forestburgh, Bethel or Thompson within the Monticello Central School District).

Petitions must be returned to the library by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 11.
