Audubon trip to view woodcocks

YOUNGSVILLE, NY — There will be a  Sullivan Audubon Field Trip to see displaying woodcocks at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 14. They’re also known as timberdoodles, night partridges, big-eyes, bogsuckers, woodbats, and mudbats. Whatever you call them, come out and help spot them. Meet leaders Kate and Charles Hyden at the Youngsville School parking lot on Shandelee Road to carpool to the display fields. For more information, or if weather is questionable, call Kate at 845/439-4325. Visit www.sullivana udubon.org.
