DINGMANS FERRY, PA — The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will offer an edible and medicinal plant walk on Sunday, August 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. Nature provides food and natural remedies for us in the form of many plants. Go on a hike where you will learn how to identify such plants. No collecting will be done in the park.
The center is located at 538 Emery Rd. The cost is $5. Pre-registration is requested; call 570/828-2319 or visit www.peec.org.
