Dolores Ann Patricia Manaseri of Lake Huntington, NY, a long-time resident of the area, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Florida.

Dolores Ann Patricia was born on November 26, 1938 to Peter Paul and Rosanna Blaso of Corona, NY. She attended St. Leo’s and St. Agnes Academy High School. She was a nurse. She was married Joseph Manaseri on August 16, 1959.

They were happily married for 58 years. She was always proud of her children Joseph III (Maria), Rosemary and Christopher.

She loved her grandchildren very much: Joseph C., Mario, Gianna, Travis and Luke. She had a kind heart and was a nurturing and loving wife to Joseph, a friend to all who knew and cared for her. Dolores loved to help others and was an active volunteer in many venues including the Rosary Society, Cochecton Preservation Society, Republican Club, Red Hat Society of Lake Huntington and Narrowsburg, card-playing club and Cochecton Ambulance Corps.

She was survived by two brothers, Peter (Dolores), Robert (Marie) Blaso and sister-in-law Sue Manaseri; and several nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Alfred Manaseri.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake, Lake Huntington, NY. Entombment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.
