NARROWSBURG, NY — Cold temps the past few days have made the Narrowsburg Union ice-skating rink freeze over, and it will soon be ready for all to utilize.
Many volunteers and the Narrowsburg, Lava and Lake Huntington fire departments worked together to ready the rink, located on the Kirk Road ball field. The fire trucks filled the rink with water and then Mother Nature did her work to freeze it. This is the second year that the Narrowsburg Union owners Brendan and Kathy Weiden are providing this community accommodation.
The Tusten Youth Commission is in charge of overseeing the ice-skating rink. Check its Facebook page for updates.
