MILFORD, PA — Milford Presents will host its annual end-of summer event, Septemberfest, on Saturday, September 8. This one-day musical event is located throughout the Milford Borough and is free to all who attend. All day long, sidewalks will be lined with musicians, art pieces and local vendors.

This year’s Septemberfest will feature Bobby Kyle and the Administers, a local blues band that has had success on the Top 50 Contemporary Blues Album Charts and Top Blues Albums Chart. The band is currently touring the East Coast and will be performing at Ambiance Furniture, located at 200 East Harford St., from 2 to 4 p.m.

Another highlight of Septemberfest is Irish rock band Saints and Sinners: Young Dubliners, co-sponsored by Kindred Spirits, which will perform at the Milford Theatre at 114 East Catherine St. at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the festival’s Saturday lineup. It is the only part of the event for which there is a charge; tickets for adults cost $20 at the door and $15 in advance at http://www.kindredspirit sarts.org and Holy Crepes, 224 Broad St. Children under 15 are admitted free.

Music in the Park will keep the music going on Sunday. Catch Chris Raabe, Walt Edwards and Cassidy Rain and many more at the Ann Street Park from 1 to 4 p.m. In addition, visual artists including Jesse Clemente, Rick Weber, Brenda Anne Bannon-Gehrke, Jerry Reganess and more will create and sell frameable art during the event. Kids face-painting will also be available. Proceeds from sold art and face painting will benefit Milford Borough Recreation’s Music in the Park fund.

The 2018 edition of Septemberfest will be centered around Broad and Harford Street with crafts, food and music. The event is free, thanks to the support of the business community and sponsors including Ambience Furniture, The Naked Bagel, Hotel Fauchere, Pocono Arts Council and the Greater Pike Community Foundation.
