MILFORD, PA — On December 2, the Milford Craft Show store will host the annual Mittens for Kittens adoption event. For each pair of handcrafted mittens sold during the event, $10 will be donated to Jill’s Ferals, a local cat rescue and trap-and-release (TNR) organization. The Mittens for Kittens project started in Milford in 2014 and partnered with Port Jervis based Jill’s Ferals to finance veterinary care for the cats. Since starting her TNR work, Jill Wojtaszek has trapped and neutered hundreds of feral cats and domesticated dozens of others to become adoptable companion cats. Several adoptable cats and kittens will be at the store from 12 noon to 3 p.m., fully vetted. Cat food and litter donations are always appreciated.
