SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s (DVAA) 2019 Decentralization Grant cycle has begun for organizations and artists in Sullivan County. Grants are for nonprofit arts, cultural and heritage groups that wish to create, produce, or present cultural year-round programming in Sullivan County during 2019. Individual artists who wish to produce community programming can work with a non-profit organization as a fiscal sponsor. You may apply for up to three grants ranging from $300 to $3,500.
In 2019, DVAA will administer two discipline-specific fellowships to eligible Sullivan County artists. Each artist will receive $2,500. It will accept applications for visual arts–painting and literary arts–fiction.
All applications and supporting documents must be submitted to our online submission platform, Submittable.com. The deadline for 2019 applications is Thursday, November 1 at 11:59 p.m.
Free grant information workshops will be hosted by DVAA. Registration is required and new applicants must attend one workshop. They will be held on Tuesday, October 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Daniel Pierce Library in Grahamsville; and on Saturday, October 13 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Bethel Council of the Arts, 3575 Rte. 55 in Kauneonga Lake.
