MATAMORAS, PA — The Prom, a Tri-Versity annual signature event, be held on April 22 at the Inn at Hunt’s Landing/Best Western. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Broadway.” TriVersity seeks sponsorships and donations from local businesses and individuals.

The concept is a “prom for all ages,” designed as an opportunity to show area LGBTQ and ally youth that their lives and social experiences can be enjoyable and memorable even during these teen years. TriVersity’s goal is to raise funds to ensure a magical experience and to provide an evening that is safe and free from bigotry and judgment. 

Tickets cost $55 for adults and $35 for students. No one is turned away for lack of funds; in 2016 almost one-quarter of attendees came thanks to the generosity of those who donated. Donations of $500 or more will entitle you to two Prom tickets; donations of $350 to $499 will entitle you to one Prom ticket. All donors will be listed in the Prom flyer.

Donations can also be made in the form of items for a silent auction or with items to be included in gift bags (minimum of 300) to be handed out to all attendees. For more information email admin@udglbt.org.
