GRAHAMSVILLE, NY — The annual Denning and Claryville History Afternoon will be held at the Time and the Valleys Museum at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 8 on State Route 55.
At 1:30 p.m. a special guest speaker, Ulster County Historian Geoffrey Miller, will speak on local history in Ulster County and the histories of the Towns of Denning and Wawarsing. Thomas McGee, Town of Denning historian, will also speak on the history of the Town of Denning. The museum’s collections of photos, records, books, oral histories and more from Claryville and the Town of Denning, which brings life to the history of the Upper Neversink and Upper Rondout valleys, will be open to all visitors from 1 to 4 p.m. on July 8. Visitors are encouraged to bring their research and enthusiasm for local history and any photos, historical items or information they may have to share.
