I am writing to let people know that if they’re concerned about the possibility of huge data centers moving into our communities, there are things they can do.
On Friday, October 16, at 7 p.m. at the Seeleyville Fire Station, Wayne County Voices, in partnership with the River Reporter, is sponsoring a Town Hall meeting on “Data Center Fights—How to Win.”
Wayne County Voices is a nonpartisan group that sponsors educational programs and town hall meetings related to important issues in this community. This free forum will feature well-informed panelists who have been involved in successful struggles to keep these facilities out of northeastern PA. Panelists will give brief remarks on their areas of expertise and will take questions from the audience.
Discussion is encouraged, and there will be informational materials and opportunities to become involved with this important issue.
We hope to see you on October 16 at the Seeleyville Firehouse, 1200 Bridge St. in Honesdale.
Jane Frances Shaw
