Delaware Valley Action! and a number of other community organizations are hosting a No Kings—Vote Early event on Saturday, October 17 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pike County Courthouse at 412 Broad St. in Milford, PA.

The fun, family event is nonpartisan and is designed to be a fun day, celebrating our right to vote.

This event is not just a rally, but a day of nonpartisan voter participation, with cornhole games, pumpkin painting, popcorn, face-painting, other games, cotton candy and FUN! We’re turning people power into voter power.

Voting early makes our voices heard, before Election Day, before the last-minute chaos, and before anyone else can decide what happens next.

Pike County Commissioner Christa Caceres is encouraging everyone to participate, noting, “Democracy and voting must be preserved. Come out and spend the day with fellow Americans who embrace the rights and responsibilities of voting in every election. The future of our country demands its citizens use their voice at the ballot box.”

No Kings: Vote Early is about making sure every eligible voter has a plan to vote early, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count. In America, we the people choose our leaders. Leaders do not choose who votes, whose voices matter, or what future our communities deserve.

Local organizations tabling at this event will include Delaware Valley Action!, the Pike County Democratic Committee, the League of Women Voters, the Democratic Club of Delaware-Dingmans Townships, Toys for Kids and more.

This event will be a family-friendly, fun day for all.
