UPPER DELAWARE RIVER, NY and PA — The intrepid staff at the River Reporter goes to great lengths to gather the best of the region’s news, entertainment and oddities for your enjoyment. A given week’s stories may take us from one end of the region to another, from Clinton Township, PA, to New Paltz, NY and beyond (even as far away as South Carolina!). 

In the course of this summer’s work, the River Reporter’s staff writers have been documenting the world around them through photographs. Partly, we’re doing this as practice, to better our photographic skills (just speaking for myself, while a photographic enthusiast, I am, a trained photographer I am not). Partly, we’re doing it because we live in a beautiful area, and when you’ve got a camera in hand, it gives you just that extra ability to appreciate how beautiful the world really is around you. 

On these pages are some of the best shots we’ve captured over the summer. For a bonus challenge—there are a few landscape shots in here that should be recognizable, if you’ve got keen eyes for the outdoors...
