HONESDALE, PA - On November 22, 2024, Jerome Brown, of Bronx, NY was charged with one (1) count of Delivery of Cocaine, one (1) count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, two (2) counts of Criminal Use of Communication Facility, two (2) counts of possession of cocaine, and two (2) counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On October 16, 2024, the defendant sold cocaine to a confidential informant in the parking lot of Walmart, Texas Township, Wayne County. On November 13, 2024, the defendant arrived in the parking lot of Walmart again to sell cocaine to a confidential informant. Pennsylvania State Police arrested the defendant at this time.
A search of the defendant discovered $1,716.00, and four (4) plastic baggies of cocaine on Jerome Brown’s person.
The filing of criminal charges is not evidence of guilt but simply a description of the charge made by the Commonwealth against a defendant. A charged Defendant is presumed innocent until a jury returns a unanimous finding that the Commonwealth has proven the defendant’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt or until the defendant enters a guilty plea to the charges.
