Rep. Rob Bresnahan (R, PA-08) announced the launch of the “Women for Rob” Coalition, a growing network of more than 80 women across all five counties in the 8th Congressional District that support his re-election campaign and his record of delivering results for northeastern Pennsylvania families.

The coalition will be co-chaired by Monroe County Republican Women Chair and Republican State Committee Member Shelli Bird and Mayfield Borough Council President Diana Campbell.

This announcement reflects the results-driven leadership Bresnahan was elected to deliver and the growing confidence women across the district have in his commitment to addressing the everyday challenges facing families throughout the region. Since taking office, Bresnahan has worked to strengthen access to quality healthcare, protect critical hospital services, support working families, and advocate for investments that better the lives of all northeastern Pennsylvanians.

Bird said, “Working women and families across northeastern Pennsylvania need leaders who understand the challenges they face every day. Rep. Bresnahan has focused on supporting working families, lowering costs and creating opportunities for the next generation.”

Campbell said, “Rep. Bresnahan’s work to secure funding for the Moses Taylor Hospital Women’s Imaging and Breast Care Center is just one small example of the ways he has been a champion for greater investments in women’s health services. Bresnahan is a tireless advocate for the health and well-being of our communities, and he has consistently fought to deliver access to high-quality health care.”
