HONESDALE, PA —  Karen Paczkowski, MD, and certified registered nurse practitioner Melissa Colarossi have joined the team of providers at Wayne Memorial Hospital (WMH) to offer internal medicine services. The practice is located at 507 High St., adjacent to the main hospital building.

Paczkowski is board certified and has advanced training and experience in cardiology and internal medicine. In addition to her position as medical director of cardiology at Lewiston and Moses Taylor Hospitals, she served as a hospitalist and clinical instructor for over a decade at several medical facilities in Central and Northeast Pennsylvania. Prior to joining WMH, Paczkowski was in a similar role with the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Scranton.

Colarossi is a dedicated nurse practitioner with experience in internal medicine. She has worked in multiple healthcare settings, from hospitals to walk-in clinics, and served in various nursing roles including oncology care and clinical nursing instruction. Colarossi is committed to patient education and effective time management, allowing her to focus on quality patient care.
