TEXAS TOWNSHIP, PA — A White Mills man, Kenneth Borzacchini, died the morning of November 12 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 652 in Wayne County.
First responders were dispatched to the scene at 7:52 a.m., according to the Office of the Wayne County Coroner. County coroner Edward Howell pronounced Borzacchini, 70, dead at 8:50 a.m.
The River Reporter observed a Black SUV, traveling on Route 6 toward Honesdale, stopped in the middle of the intersection. A motorcycle, facing as if it had entered the intersection from Route 652, lay tilted under the nose of the SUV.
Borzacchini was riding the motorcycle, according to the coroner's office. The cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma from a motor vehicle collision.
Traffic was backed up along the roads leading to the intersection until at least 9 a.m., with first responders redirecting vehicles away from the site of the accident.
