HAWLEY, PA — The Wayne/Pike Northeast Suicide Prevention Initiative (NSPI) invites you to join us in sharing the journey of hope, healing and remembrance at the annual Wayne/Pike Suicide Prevention Walk, to be held on Saturday, September 26 at Wallenpaupack Area High School. Gates will open at 10:30 a.m., with a program starting at 11 a.m. and an optional walk to follow.
No pets will be allowed.
The event is free and open to the public, no registration required; it will offer stories of lived experience, a remembrance wall, light refreshments, raffle baskets and local community resources.
Donations will be accepted.
This family-friendly event promotes an opportunity to come together to share our grief and honor loved ones; to raise suicide prevention awareness; to raise funds for local suicide prevention programs; and to learn about local community resources in Wayne and Pike counties.
All donations collected for Wayne and Pike counties will stay in our counties. Learn more about the event on our Facebook page, Wayne/Pike Northeast Suicide Prevention Initiative.
We hope you’ll join us on September 26th. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Nahman at 570/253-9200 or waynepikenspi@gmail.com.
