“We wanted to bring our community together for a cause that impacts so many people while organizing a fun, active event for everyone,” said Danny Moczydlowski.
He and Jose Flores, Wallenpaupack High School students, have officially launched registration for the Paupack Waves of Hope 5K, a community charity run/walk benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
The race takes place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 8 at Wallenpaupack Area High School, 2552 Rte. 6.
Partnering with Scranton Running Company, the event invites runners, walkers and supporters of all ages to join together in support of life-saving breast cancer research. 100 percent of registration proceeds and direct donations are linked directly to BCRF.
Members of the public can register, donate or learn more by visiting the official registration page at www.runsignup.com/Race/PA/Hawley/PaupackBCRF5K.
