CALLICOON, NY  — On Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Callicoon, the hamlet’s country fair will be held. “It is one of our town’s biggest, most exciting days of the year—and we need you to help make it happen,” a news release from the Callicoon Business Association reads.

“Each year, this incredible event draws hundreds of visitors who shop, dine and fall in love with Callicoon,” the release continued. “It’s our chance to show off everything that makes this town so special—and send people home wanting more. But here’s the thing: we can’t do it alone.”

The fair needs the time and heart of volunteers to happen, and a few more are needed. You don’t have to work all day—even a few hours will help.

The business association needs help coordinating the day, setting up, monitoring the Kids Zone, handling street safety, greeting guests, supporting vendors and breaking it all down at the end. 

“Even if you can only spare an hour or two, that’s more than enough to make an impact,” the release continued. “Plus, you’ll get to be part of something truly special.”
