Dr. Cohen previously served as president-elect, vice president, trustee and speaker of the House of Delegates of MSSNY. As speaker, his responsibilities included overseeing the policy-making business of the state’s principal professional organization for physicians as well as emceeing its official events, such as MSSNY’s annual Legislative Forum in Albany.

MSSNY represents the interests of patients and physicians in an ongoing effort to assure quality health care services for all New Yorkers, according to its website.
