STROUDSBURG, PA — Christian metal band Stryper is headed to the Sherman Theater on Sunday, October 25 at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.
In addition to a 40th-anniversary tour, the group released its 16th studio project in 2024, titled “When We Were Kings” (Frontiers Music).
Among the album’s most spiritually straightforward songs, the track “Trinity” “speaks to the mysterious unity of the Father, Son and Spirit,” the band wrote, while “End of Days” addresses the last days before the apocalypse.
Stryper also has made progress on a Kickstarter-fueled documentary film, the theater noted.
The band has been known for hits like “Calling on You,” “Honestly” and “Always There for You.” Its career album sales exceed 10 million worldwide, including the 1986 multi-platinum release “To Hell with the Devil.”
The theater is located at 524 Main St.
