TOWN OF TUSTEN, NY — Smooth roads, or at least a lot smoother, lie ahead for Narrowsburg. On May 13, the Tusten Town Board voted to authorize the town’s highway superintendent to fully re-pave the parking lot at 95 Main St.
The project is estimated to cost between $18,000 and $20,000 and work is expected to begin sometime after Memorial Day, according to the board’s parking committee.
Another set of updates for the town are in the works after securing a $15,000 grant from Sullivan 180. Deputy town supervisor Jane Luchsinger announced the grant, which is matching 25% from the town that will cover landscaper funding for Kirk’s Road maintenance, including additional trees and signs; mowing for the triangle at Routes 97 and 52; and flower pots for the front of town hall.
