LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — It’s always better to run with the wind at your back.

On December 19, the thinclads from several high schools gathered “Down in the Bunker” at SUNY Sullivan’s vast gymnasium to participate in an indoor varsity track and field meet.

The participating schools were Eldred, Liberty, Tri-Valley, Monticello, Fallsburg, Ellenville, Sullivan West and a new entry to the local high school sports scene, the Homestead School, a collaborative high school based in Hurleyville, NY.
