Congressman Rob Bresnahan, Republican candidate for Pennsylvania’s 8th District, announced that he is the first Republican congressman to earn the endorsement of IBEW Local 163, one of northeastern Pennsylvania’s most respected labor unions. Local 163 cited Bresnahan’s career in the electrical trades, his years working alongside the men and women of the IBEW, and his strong record in Washington fighting for good wages, apprenticeship programs and investments that support working families.

“The IBEW shaped my values, my work ethic and my commitment to looking out for the hardworking families of northeastern Pennsylvania,” said Bresnahan. “As northeastern Pennsylvania’s voice in Washington, I will continue standing up for good wages, strong apprenticeship programs, safe workplaces and the investments that create long-term careers right here at home.”
