PORT JERVIS, NY — The Port Jervis NY Tourism Board will be celebrating the 33rd annual Fall Foliage Festival on Sunday, September 27 in downtown Port Jervis from10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Last year there was an estimated crowd of over 20,000 visitors to our longest annual event,” according to the board, and it hosted more than 275 vendors, “including delicious foods from around the world, hand crafters, merchandise vendors, local businesses and information vendors.”
This year’s festival will feature three performance areas:
Stage 1: The Promenade at the Fountain, featuring live bands;
Stage 2: End of Sussex Street near Village at Bruno’s Pizza Restaurant, featuring live bands; and
Stage 3: Intersection of Sussex and Ball streets, featuring live musical theatre, line dancing and more.
There will also be a petting zoo and pony rides in the municipal parking lot at the end of Front Street by Pike Street from noon to 4 p.m.
Attendees can also see a classic car show on Ball Street near Sussex Street starting at 10 a.m.
Admission and parking are free of charge.
