DINGMAN TOWNSHIP, PA — The PA State Police at Blooming Grove is investigating the death of 60-year-old Karen L. Kistle, who sustained a fatal gunshot wound at her residence, 103 Vandien Drive in Dingman Township, PA, on Wednesday, May 22.
The Delaware Township Ambulance Corps. and members of Troop R-Blooming Grove Station responded to a report about a gunshot injury.
Kistle succumbed to her injuries before she could be airlifted to Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, according to the police.
Troop R is investigating Kistle’s death with assistance from the Pike County District Attorney’s Office, the Pike County Coroner’s Office, and the Delaware Township Ambulance.
