LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Space (CAS) will host an exhibition of new work from Vera Iliatova, Jude Tallichet and Charles Wilkin; it will be on view in the ground-floor galleries of the CAS beginning Saturday, September 2. An artist talk and opening reception will be held the same day, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Vera Iliatova’s paintings depict the vicissitudes of her younger self: young women as ciphers, stand-ins, imposters and actresses. They inhabit elusive, hybrid settings of postindustrial cities, dilapidated boarding schools or suburban landscapes.

Jude Tallichet’s series “Whispers Down the Lane” features large objects cast in translucent white tissue paper, transmuting the solid and concrete into disembodied ephemeral forms.

Charles Wilkin’s collage work replicates the frenetic and inherent collision of people, culture and emotions that we all experience.

The exhibit will be on view through Saturday, October 14.
