The Pike County Conservation District (PCCD) is calling for nominations of individuals, educators and students for the 2025 Conservation Achievement Awards.

These awards honor those who have made significant contributions to preserving and enhancing Pike County’s natural resources.

The award categories are:

Conservation Achievement Award: Open to individuals, groups or organizations demonstrating exceptional leadership in conservation efforts.

Educator Conservation Achievement Award: Recognizes teachers or educators who have effectively integrated conservation education into their curricula.

Youth Conservation Achievement Award: Acknowledges students in grades K to 12 who have actively participated in conservation initiatives.

Eligible nominees should exhibit a long-term commitment to natural resource conservation in Pike County, positive environmental impacts through conservation projects, and innovative contributions to public understanding of conservation issues.

Submit nominations online at bit.ly/pccd-awards by Sunday, June 1. Call Lisa Dolci, PCCD administrative manager, at 570/226-8220 or email pikecd@pikepa.org for assistance or with any questions.
