WAYNE COUNTY, PA — Democrat Jocelyn Cramer defeated longtime Democratic commissioner Wendell Kay by 10 votes in the final count in the 2019 municipal elections, making her the first woman in the county's history to get elected commissioner.

The most recent tally, Cramer receiving 3337 votes over Kay's 3,327, is the final count. However, there is still a mandatory five-day period before the results are official.

Barring any objections, Cramer will join Republicans Brian Smith and Joe Adams for a four-year term.
