ONLINE — For those interested in learning more about greenhouse fundamentals and hydroponic vegetable production basics, Penn State Extension is offering a webinar, “Living on a Few Acres: Hydroponics and Greenhouse Production,” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. March 12.
This session is designed for new and beginning producers and for those looking to become more self-sufficient in vegetable production using greenhouses or hydroponics.
Whether individuals are considering adding a greenhouse to their property or exploring hydroponics for the first time, organizers said, this webinar can help with deciding the right path. Participants can learn more about greenhouse selection, greenhouse production management, hydroponic fertility and hydroponic production systems.
Participants must register by 6 p.m. March 12 to receive the link to access the live webinar. Space for this webinar is limited, and a $5 registration fee accompanies the event. Registrants also will receive access to the webinar recording.
