NARROWSBURG, NY — Thousands of people flocked to Tusten on the Fourth of July for the Narrowsburg Fire Department’s annual parade and chicken barbeque, and for the fair held by the Tusten Youth Commission (TYC) and the Narrowsburg Chamber of Commerce.
The TYC estimates that between 2,000 and 2,500 people attented the event, said youth commission chair Crystal Weston; this was many more people than anticipated. The event itself was “amazing and wonderful,” she said, and the youth commission had received a lot of positive feedback from people who attended. Plans are in the works for next year’s event, with all involved hoping to continue the fair as a fun and safe tradition for Tusten’s community.
