Gillian Kaiser endorsed in Forestburgh

Posted

As Forestburgh representatives on the Sullivan County Democratic Committee, we want our neighbors to know that Forestburgh Democrats have endorsed Gillian Kaiser for town supervisor on the ballot in the November 3 election.

A resident of the Town of Forestburgh for over 16 years, Gillian Kaiser has served as a volunteer for the Town Comprehensive Plan Committee, gaining knowledge of the town’s needs, goals and residents’ interests, as well as an in-depth understanding of New York town law and local zoning and planning. An experienced businessperson, Gillian has served as CEO of several successful businesses and been a NYS-certified real estate appraiser, gaining experience in housing, land use and development issues, including environmental impacts.

Gillian has served as a board member and president of Action Toward Independence (ATI), a local organization created to aid the disabled, elderly and Veterans. During her tenure with ATI, the group has gone from seven to 27 employees and seen its budget rise 10-fold through grants and funding contracts.

Gillian will listen to residents’ concerns and bring a common-sense approach to dealing with municipal issues in a fair  and  equitable manner and will listen to  residents  in a non-confrontational way, and work closely with other members of the town board, regardless of party affiliation.

Although a registered Republican, based on her experience, manner and intelligence, we believe Gillian Kaiser is the best person to guide our town for the next two years. We wholeheartedly support the election of Gillian Kaiser as Forestburgh Town Supervisor on November 3.
