HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Hurleyville Arts Centre (HAC) wants to keep the pride celebration going all summer. On Saturday, July 27, HAC is hosting a day of merriment—dance music, drag performances, workshops and vendors—from 4 to 10 p.m., to benefit organizations that support LGBTQ and homeless youth.
The Vogue Dance workshop starts off the night, and is presented by the Hetrick Martin Institute, the nation’s oldest and largest organization helping LGTBQ youth. Fun with wig and make-up tables will follow, with nourishment provided by Nardi’s and the Pickled Owl. Finally, performances by Pixel Witch, Patrice Pike, Mike Messer, Uncle Mordechai, and the Ballroom Knights will wrap up the night in a powerful, not-to-be-loosened bow.
Full access passes are available for $40. For those interested in just the Vogue Workshop from 4 to 6 p.m., tickets cost $30. Tickets for just the performances and party from 7 to 10 p.m. cost $20.
