HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau participated in the Touch a Truck event at the Wayne County Public Library in the summer of 2025.  Board member Clinton LaTourette brought his big tractor with his round baler attached.  Children and adults alike were able to sit in the tractor seat and see what a farmer sees when on the road with a piece of farm equipment.

And now, spring is approaching, and area farmers will be out on the roads in their tractors.

The Farm Bureau stresses “Rural Roads Safety” from spring through fall, when farmers are working in their fields, planting and later harvesting their crops.
