HAWLEY, PA — On Wednesday, July 16, 11 children watered their plants at the Bookworm Friendship Garden Club.

A raffle was held for three cucumbers, and Lydia, Declan and Jason won.

Natalia held up her radish, which was started from seed a month ago.

All the children took home kale, lettuce, mesclun, spinach, radishes and three different kinds of basil.

The garden is located at the Hawley Library.

The program will continue through August. To register, visit www.hawleylibrary.org/calendar.html.
