YULAN, NY — Fiona Kane, 10, was named a winner in the May/June 2026 Cricket League art competition in Cricket magazine. For the contest, readers were invited to submit original art drawn twice—using two different art styles or media. Fiona’s Double Drawing is featured in the Cricket League section of the September/October 2026 issue.

“Cricket magazine has delighted generations of readers ages nine to 14 with contemporary stories and classic literature from the world’s best writers, paired with breathtaking illustrations. Its editors thoughtfully curate each issue with the highest-quality fiction, nonfiction and poetry spanning culture, history, science and the arts,” according to a news release.

Every issue also includes a writing or art competition, drawing entries from Cricket readers around the world. Winners receive recognition and an official certificate, and top entries are published in the magazine.

In addition to Cricket magazine, Cricket Media’s award-winning titles include Spider® for ages six to nine, Ladybug® for children ages three to six, and Babybug®, for infants and toddlers ages six months to three years. Visit www.cricketmedia.com to learn more.
