SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — While initial vote totals had Sullivan County voting slightly in Lou Ingrassia’s favor for Assembly District 100, updated totals have Democrat Paula Kay winning in the county with 14,958 votes in her favor to 14,745 votes for Ingrassia. 

Kay and Ingrassia were competing to succeed Aileen Gunther in the New York State Assembly; Gunther has served in the position since 2003, and decided to  retire this year. The race was called for Kay the day after the election.
