ELLENVILLE, NY — Ellenville Regional Hospital recognized Occupational Therapy Month this past April, celebrating the vital role that occupational therapists play in helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. The hospital’s occupational therapy department is dedicated to providing specialized care to patients with upper extremity conditions, chronic pain and post-surgical rehabilitation needs, the hospital said.

Occupational therapy focuses on restoring movement, strength and coordination while addressing pain relief and symptom management.
