Although this quote is widely attributed to Theodore Roosevelt, he credits it, in his Autobiography, Chapter IX, to Squire Bill Widener of Widener’s Valley, Virginia, according to the Theodore Roosevelt Center.
Still, it's good advice to center on what we actually can do with what we have where we are. Certainly, it guided Roosevelt to great accomplishments.
We are fortunate in the Upper Delaware River Valley that there are so many who do what we can where we are.
It's the power of community and the social glue that we share.
