HERSHEY, PA — Delaware Valley Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) had 47 high school members and 31 middle school members attend the Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference.

The high school chapter was recognized as first in the William Selden Outstanding Chapter Award for the fourth year in a row. Milford School of Music & Music Center was also recognized as the Business Partnership of the Year. Ava Troup completed her first term as a state officer and was voted into office as PA FBLA first vice president for the 2025-2026 membership year.  Anna Vogel received a $2,500 William Selden scholarship for her recognition in Who’s Who in PA FBLA. Additionally, 22 high school members and 24 middle school members have qualified for the National Leadership Conference this summer in Anaheim, CA.

At the high school level, Delaware Valley had over 30 members make finals for their events, ranging from broadcast journalism to parliamentary procedure. These events took the form of presentations, objective tests and case studies. Two Delaware Valley students—Kimberly Smyser and Emma Simmons—also took home state championships in visual design, and Emily Cronin was named and future business educator.

Additionally, 18 other members placed in the top four, securing a bid to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim this summer. Vidhi Patel finished her term as a PA FBLA social media ambassador, and Ava Troup finished her term as PA FBLA vice president at large.

Members had the opportunity to attend various workshops, network with other members across the state and watch other presentations from the best competitors in the state.

The middle school chapters were also highly successful. Eleven members were recognized as state champions and 24 members qualified for the National Leadership Conference.

The Delaware Valley FBLA Chapter will attend the National Leadership Conference in June.
