Sally E. Jonas, 86, of Cold Spring, Pleasant Mount, PA, passed away August 1, 2026 at home. Sally was born August 14, 1939 in Scranton, PA. In accordance with Sally’s wishes, there will be no public services. Interment will be private in the churchyard at Cold Spring Chapel in Pleasant Mount.

Charles Edward Kinne, 76, of South Chesterfield, VA and formerly of Kauneonga Lake, NY, passed away July 24, 2026 at home. Charles was born December 8, 1949 in Monticello, NY. The Kauneonga Lake Fire Department held firematic services August 1 at the Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services with military honors followed.

John ‘Pop’ Carlo Rossitto

John “Pop” Carlo Rossitto, 82, of Hawley, PA, passed away July 27, 2026 at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart, PA. John was born October 11, 1943 in Staten Island, NY. A memorial service was held August 3 at Teeter’s East Chapel in Hawley.

Daniel A. Rothrock

Daniel A. Rothrock, 77, of Honesdale, PA, passed away July 23, 2026. Daniel was born October 30, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ. A memorial service took place August 1 at Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home in Honesdale. Burial followed at Glen Cove Cemetery in Narrowsburg, NY.

Allan John Schnakenberg, 75, of Equinunk, PA, passed away July 25, 2026 at home. A funeral service was held July 29 at the First Baptist Church of Damascus in Damascus, PA. Interment followed in Overlook Cemetery in Damascus.

Judith Leah Slifko

Judith (Judy) Leah Slifko, 85, of Hawley, PA, passed away July 27, 2026 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Judith was born December 28, 1940 in Poyntelle, PA. The funeral service was held August 1 at Teeters’ Funeral Chapel in Hawley. Burial will take place at Indian Orchard Cemetery in Honesdale.
