Interment will follow in East Dyberry Cemetery in Dyberry, PA.

William Ralph Dexter, 90, of Honesdale, PA, passed away April 1, 2026, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. William was born September 26, 1935 in Nobody Station, a little settlement that borders the Delaware River. A graveside service was held April 7 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Narrowsburg, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial was held April 7 in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Port Jervis, NY. A burial of cremains took place in the Milford Cemetery in Milford, PA.

Gordon C. Mathsen

Gordon C. Mathsen, 83, passed away March 28, 2026 at Ellen Memorial Rehabilitation Center in Honesdale, PA. Gordon was born November 9, 1942 in Nyack, NY. Family will receive friends at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA, on Wednesday, April 8 from noon to 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow. Burial with military honors will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Matamoras, PA.

A Mass of Christian burial was held April 6 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Camp Hill. Committal followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, PA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10 at the United Methodist Church on Obernburg Road in North Branch, NY from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. at the church, followed by burial at the North Branch United Methodist Cemetery in North Branch.
