Chester A. Anderson Jr., 79, of Callicoon Center, NY, passed away January 9, 2026 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Chester was born September 3, 1946 in Hoboken, NJ. Graveside services and burial were held January 15 at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, NJ. A celebration of life in his memory will be held at a later date.

Margaret “Peggy” Ann Durst, 88, of Hawley, PA, passed away January 12, 2026 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, PA. Margaret was born December 3, 1937 in Mineola, NY. A service will be scheduled in the spring of 2026. Inurnment to be in the Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury, NY.

Donald ‘Butch’ F. Milk

Donald “Butch” F. Milk, 81, of Hancock, NY and formerly Long Eddy, NY, passed away January 13, 2026 at the Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Delhi, NY. Donald was born September 29, 1944 in Hancock, NY. Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 22 from noon to 3 p.m., with a funeral service following at Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel in Hancock. Burial will be in the spring. A luncheon will follow the funeral services at the American Legion Hall in Hancock.

Friends can visit Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. in Honesdale on Saturday, January 24 from noon to 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m.
