Scranton Mayor and candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District Paige Cognetti has a proven track record of taking on corruption and corporations to stand up for the people. Today, Paige is taking her fight directly to greedy data center developers and stock trading Congressman Rob Bresnahan in her new ad, titled “Code.” 

As northeastern Pennsylvania communities confront potential data center development across the region, Cognetti lays out the rules these companies need to follow if they want to build in NEPA. No special perks, no secrets, no broken promises. And she calls out Bresnahan for “trad[ing] AI stock while he pushed for data centers.” 

With her new ad, Cognetti becomes one of the first congressional candidates across the entire country to stand up directly to greedy data center developers and tell them our communities are not for sale—taking on the machine, just like she’s always done.
