GLEN SPEY, NY — Burn Brae Mansion, one of the region's most historic and haunted estates, comes alive this October with a thrilling lineup of Halloween experiences designed to delight, fright, and entertain guests of all ages. From the legendary Dark Forest Fright Trail and a whimsical children's matinee to an exclusive Halloween Night cemetery tour and a bonus murder mystery in November, Burn Brae Mansion is pulling out all the stops for the spooky season.

“October is our time,” said Andy Russ, president of Dark Forest Creations and co-owner of Burn Brae Mansion. “With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, we have a month-long schedule of spine-tingling activities planned, including our eerily educational Secrets of the Dark Forest tour—a tour we debuted last year with great success.”

Completed in 1908 and located in Glen Spey, Burn Brae Mansion is one of the Hudson Valley’s most historic—and most haunted—properties. Operating as a year-round bed & breakfast, Burn Brae Mansion is also available for overnight stays, private paranormal investigations, and special events. Internationally known for its immersive events and rich history, Burn Brae Mansion has been featured on numerous paranormal investigation shows, and continues to attract visitors from around the country seeking both culture and the supernatural.

With danger lurking around every turn, the Dark Forest promises another unforgettable season of immersive scares.
The evening also features live music, vendors, food, cocktails, and photo opportunities. Equal parts immersive theater and psychological nightmare, the Dark Forest continues a Halloween tradition that has thrilled and terrified thousands of visitors for more than three decades.
