HAWLEY, PA — The Wayne County Community Foundation held its annual Ben Franklin Dinner at Woodloch recently, celebrating Dr. David and Kay Reynolds, and the William E. Chatlos Foundation.
The dinner “is always a special opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations whose generosity and service strengthen Wayne County,” the foundation wrote in its newsletter.
“Thank you to everyone who joined us, to Woodloch for hosting us, and to our generous sponsors whose support helped make the evening possible. Most importantly, congratulations once again to Dr. David and Kay Reynolds, recipients of the 2026 Ben Franklin Community Service Award; and the William E. Chatlos Foundation, recipient of our inaugural Philanthropy in Action Award.”
“What an honor for us to celebrate alongside a community that continues to give back and invest in the place we all call home,” the foundation wrote.
In addition, the foundation announced two new staff members: Page Atkinson, the director of operations and strategic initiatives; and Chris Novoa, development and marketing coordinator.
Atkinson has more than 15 years of experience in leadership, operations, systems development and helping teams turn big ideas into thoughtful action, the foundation wrote. Novoa “brings a diverse background in business, finance, entrepreneurship, communications and community leadership, along with years of involvement with local nonprofit organizations,” and will focus on helping people understand and “connect with the opportunities for philanthropy in Wayne County.”
