Check out the latest in White Sulphur Springs

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, NY — On Monday, July 24 at 6 p.m., visit the garden next to the White Sulphur Springs Inn, for the unveiling of an oversized Adirondack chair.

The chair was built by Sullivan County BOCES students under the direction of instructor Darryl Emmett. It was hand-painted by Sullivan County resident Kayli Hussey.

The committee will also have on display sponsor signs to show their gratitude to the local businesses, families and organizations who financially supported its efforts.

“Our beautification group has worked hard over the past two decades to enhance the hamlet of White Sulphur Springs,” a spokesperson said. “We are proud of our community, which we lovingly refer to as a ‘small town with a BIG heart.’”

Among its many projects: a Sunflower Challenge, where members provided sunflower seeds to White Sulphur Springs residents to plant for a magnificent display around town.
