SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — A Single Bite recently announced the conclusion of the 2024–2025 Real Food Education farm trip season by welcoming 110 seventh grade students and their chaperones from Robert J. Kaiser Middle School to Thanksgiving Farm at The Center for Discovery.

Each student experienced an immersive, educational visit, exploring regenerative agriculture, real food systems and the connection between healthy food and healthy communities. This milestone marks the end of a transformative school year in which nearly 700 students across eight Sullivan County districts participated in Real Food Education programming.

“We’re so proud of what these students experienced,” said Audrey Garro, executive director of A Single Bite. “Whether it’s 100 or 1,000 students, the impact remains just as powerful. We are deeply grateful to The Center for Discovery for creating a meaningful, inspiring visit for each and every attendee.”
